2026 In-Person Convention held at Desert Rose Retreat Center in Eloy, Arizona.
“Sunlight of the Spirit!”
October 16-18 was a reverie of beauty and CLA community members building recovery together at the Desert Rose. Speakers, workshops, playtime, rest, fabulous meals provided by a professional chef and his team were all there for the experiencing!! Members travelled from near and far and very far to this gem of a location where the Sunlight of the Spirit was welcomed and shone so brightly in the sharing of Experience, Strength, and Hope with each other. It was a very special weekend for CLA fellows.
2025 In-Person Convention held at Old Town Church in Alexandria, Virgina.

September 26-28 was a wonderful gathering of CLA members new and not new who shared Experience, Strength, and Hope with one another. Speakers and Workshops and a beautiful banquet were all sources of connection and recovery.

2021 Virtual Convention
Principles + Action = Recovery
The CLA 2021 Convention was held via video conferencing due to the pandemic. There were some technical issues at the start but were quickly forgotten with the excellent presentations and warm fellowship.

The CLA 2020 Convention was held via video conferencing due to the pandemic. There were many excellent presentations and warm fellowship.
2019 Convention
Our in-person convention, held in July at Manhattan College in New York, was a huge success. Attendees were touched, moved and inspired by the workshops and by all the positive energy. The chance to be with each other in person to fellowship, learn, and laugh added so much to our recovery.
